Floor markings such as lines marking the edges of traffic lanes or stop signs to help with traffic flow play an important role in the safety and efficiency of a workplace. Many workplaces struggle to use these markings, though, because their floors are uneven, are made of materials not conducive to the use of paint or adhesives, or experience unusually high traffic levels. For those workplaces, SignCast™ units may solve their problem.
New Indestructible Floor Markings
We’re excited to have two new products that provide an alternative to traditional floor markings: SignCast™ Virtual Sign units and SignCast™ Virtual Line units. These machines project bright signs or lines on your floors from a mounting location near the ceiling. The units use either a high-output lamp or high-intensity laser, so bright means bright. These signs and lines will definitely get noticed. And the great thing about these markings is it’s impossible to damage them, meaning less required maintenance.
SignCast™ S300 Virtual Sign Unit
This virtual sign unit displays clear signs at distances of up to 50 feet. Each unit comes with a gobo image. Customers can select standard signs—such as stop signs, pedestrian crossing signs, and forklift traffic signs—or request a custom design. Other common applications include marking the locations of emergency equipment, electrical panels, and crosswalks.
SignCast S300 units use a high-output LED bulb that’s rated for 50,000 hours of continuous use. The unit also comes with a 1-year manufacturer warranty.
SignCast™ L100 Virtual Line Unit
This virtual line unit provides a unique solution for marking boundaries in the workplace. When you pair it with a second unit, you can create walkways or aisles by marking both edges of the space. L100 units use high-intensity lasers, and customers can choose from red, blue, or green lines. Line lengths are easily adjustable to fit your space.
These units are also IP65 rated for water and weather resistance, so you can use them indoors or out. They also come with a 1-year manufacturer warranty.
A Simple, Alternative Solution
These SignCast™ units can change the way you think about floor marking. They provide a new option for conveying important safety information at facilities where paint and tape just aren’t practical solutions. In industrial workplaces, those locations can be more common than you might think.
In addition to working on any surface, SignCast™ units also work well in almost all lighting conditions. These signs and lines are very visible, even when all the lights in your facility are turned on.
